Phosphorus, molybdenum and vanadium siloxy derivatives wereprepared by a condensation reaction of t Bu 2 Si(OH) 2 withC 6 H 5 POCl 2 , MoBr 2 andVOCl 3 , respectively. They were crystallized and identifiedby the usual physical techniques ( 1 H, 13 C, 29 Si and 51 V NMR spectroscopy, x‐raydiffraction and mass spectrometry). Raman and IR spectra wererecorded which, for all compounds, confirmed the cyclic structuredetermined by x‐ray diffraction. © 1998 John Wiley &Sons, Ltd.
