This paper presents measured spectra of backscattered x‐radiation, obtained while performing specific in vivo angiography procedures. The backscattered x‐ray field was measured at carefully selected points in the room. It is shown that the spectral energy distribution of backscattered radiation in the room has the same trends for all the intervention procedures even if the medical procedures were different. In vivo measurement of the backscattered x‐radiation can offer more data for finding solutions to reduce exposure of personnel performing cine‐examinations or intervention in an angiography laboratory.
