The high‐temperature Knudsen effusion method was used to study the vaporization processes in the DyF 3 –Dy 2 O 3 system at 1357±5 K. The following ions were identified in the mass spectra of the vapour over the system studied: DyF + 3 , DyF + 2 , DyF + , Dy + , DyOF + , DyO +as well as insignificant quantities of the Dy 2 F + 5 , Dy 2 OF + 4 , Dy 2 OF + 3and F +ions. Analysis of the vapour mass spectra over the compositions containing 0.95; 0.85; 0.60; 0.40; 0.25; 0.10 mol fractions of DyF 3was carried out. The data obtained indicate that DyOF, DyF 3and Dy 2 OF 4molecules are the main vapour species over the DyF 3 –Dy 2 O 3system.
