Using the high temperature mass spectrometric method, the composition of vapour and the partial pressures of vapour species over CaO · MgO · 2SiO 2 were obtained. Partial enthalpies and entropies of components in the melt over diopside were evaluated. Correlation between the thermodynamic functions obtained and those available in the Literature is discussed.
