The mass spectrometric behaviour of bis(mono aza crown ether)s has been studied under electron ionization conditions and with the aid of mass‐analysed ion kinetic energy spectroscopy and compared with the behaviour of bis(oligoethylene)amino analogues. The principal fragmentation pathway is the cleavage of the oligoethylene chains in the position β or γ to the nitrogen atom.
