Dendritic cell therapy reflects our increased familiarity and comfort with immune‐based therapies. Nonetheless, several fundamental issues need to be addressed. Until these concerns are resolved, it will be difficult for scientists and physicians, as well as the lay public, to understand fully the strength and applicability of this therapeutic approach.
