All combinations of detachment by flow or raindrops, and transport by flow, raindrop‐induced flow or splash have not been fully incorporated into EUROSEM. In particular, neglecting raindrop detachment combined with raindrop‐induced flow transport (RIFT) leads to underestimation of erosion under certain circumstances.
