Neurodegenerative Diseases Protein aggregation is a hallmark of neurodegenerative diseases. Far‐red emissive SC‐4mor selectively detects protein aggregates in lysosomes of live cells and Drosophila models (neurodegenerative and non‐neurodegenerative disease models). Ability of SC‐4mor to cross the blood‐brain barrier in mice model highlights its potential for investigating the pathogenesis and progression of protein aggregation‐related diseases in the near future.
