Abstract In this paper, we present, a review on the application of the unconventional photochemical and electrochemical pathways in organic chemistry. These protocols generally follow a redox mechanism via the generation of some nonclassical free radical intermediates. These methods commonly follow the principles of green chemistry, including atom economy and energy efficiency, to achieve sustainable and effective chemical transformations. After a brief introductory illustration of photochemistry and electrochemistry, we then discuss about the various transformation reactions involving these techniques. Methods published from 2022 to 2025 are presented here.
