The many accomplishments of Tiffany D. Tucker, M.S., Director of Athletics, Physical Education, and Recreation at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, haven’t gone unnoticed by her peers in college athletics or even by those in the wider world of sports. In fact, she's been recognized by Sports Illustrated in “Elle‐evate: 100 Influential Black Women in Sports” and by Women Leaders in Sports as Nell Jackson Nike Executive of the Year. However, she's clearly not in it for the accolades and much prefers working hard on the frontlines, investing in her student‐athletes and staff throughout her 18‐year college athletics career. She doesn’t shy away from finding the most effective strategies for managing some of the biggest challenges facing college athletics today.
