OS‐SIM Optical Sectioning Mechanism In article number 2401697, G. Ulrich Nienhaus, Peng Gao and co‐workers explore the optical sectioning mechanism of optical sectioning structured illumination microscopy (OS‐SIM) for further optimization. By using partially coherent illumination, fivefold and 1.4‐fold axial resolution enhancement was achieved for non‐fluorescent and fluorescent samples, respectively.
