ABSTRACT Angiosarcoma with malignant effusion is an uncommon yet clinically aggressive presentation, which poses as a diagnostic pitfall with its overlapping cytomorphologic features with metastatic adenocarcinoma. In this article, two cases reported in the literature were reviewed for cytology, immunocytochemistry, and clinical course. Key clinical hints, useful cytological features, and immunocytochemical markers in the diagnostic approach of this entity are presented.
