Like life, leadership is a journey

I wanted to write a column about leadership being a journey. So, I started by looking for a perfect quote. We learned in 8th‐grade speech class: Find a quote, and write a speech based on it. I found a website with “850 Powerful Leadership Journey Quotes to Inspire You.” It claimed to be a “71‐minute read.” Well, that's a little over the top. I didn’t really want to commit an hour and 11 minutes on a holiday weekend trying to find the perfect quote among hundreds.
