ABSTRACT Elastofibroma dorsi is a rare, benign tumor commonly found at the inferior angle of the scapula in older women. Symptoms include pain and crepitus during shoulder movement. MRI is the preferred diagnostic tool. Surgical resection is recommended for symptomatic cases, with single‐stage resection in the prone position being a valid and safe approach.
