O processo psicoterapêutico de uma criança: análise baseada no Child Psychotherapy Q-Set

This study has focused on the analysis of psychotherapeutic process in the fi rst year of a child, based on the Child Psychotherapy Q-Set (CPQ). The research guided by the longitudinal descriptive approach was made, adopting the Systematic Case Study procedure. Participants were a 7-year-old boy and his therapist. The CPQ was administered in two sessions in beginning the of treatment, two sessions after three months, two sessions after six months, two sessions after nine months and in two sessions after a year, to identify the characteristics of the therapeutic process, over the time. The fi ndings revealed the characteristics of psychotherapy, as it has changed over time and how these changes may be indicative of outcome in therapy. The therapist attitudes involved, initially, an interpretive work and subsequently more refl ective and support.
