Canine Parainfluenzavirus tip 5 (CPIV5) enfeksiyonu ozellikle genc evcil kopeklerde solunum sistemi enfeksiyonu ile iliskilidir. Tek bas na oldugunda prognoz hafif veya orta siddettedir ancak s kl kla diger solunum sistemi patojenleri ile birlikte gorulur. Bu cal smada Ankara ilinde Kangal yetistiriciligi yap lan 4 farkl ciftlikte bulunan klinik ac dan sagl kl ve CPIV5 enfeksiyonuna kars as lanmam s yetiskin (1 ile 8 yas aras ) 94 kopekten kan ornekleri topland . Serum orneklerinin indirekt ELISA kullan larak degerlendirilmesi sonucunda 44 kopekte (%46.8) CPIV5 spesifik antikorlar tespit edildi. Seropozitiflik oranlar orneklenen ciftliklerde %33.3 ile %63.3 aras nda degisen degerlerde saptand . Bu cal sma ile, CPIV5 enfeksiyonunun varl g ve yayg nl g na iliskin Turkiye’deki ilk veriler elde edilmistir.
