It has become a tradition for Turks to give their male children strong animal names. One of the most common and known names, the lion is often given as a name to boys today. We learn from Kashgarli that tonga named Alp Er Tonga is an animal of tiger type. Girls are given various animal names. Goose, the daughter of Alp Er Tonga, is an example. Tracks of the past will not be completely erased. Changes, conversions, but not a lost. In the face of destructiveness of time, tradition finds a way and continues to live.
