The most important reason behind of the collapse of the Ottoman Empire is to stay away from modernism's ideas and processes. Modernism is a combination of reason and science, which has become meaningful by emerge of economic, political and social conditions in the West. The modern term emphasizes both modernism and modernity here. In the late, Ottoman Empire tried to articulate this modernization movement, but due to a number of structural and existential reasons, this aim could not be reached and eventually it was collepsed. Kemalism is an authoritarian and centrist modernization project, shaped by an objective inherited from the empire, and by Oriental methods. The fact that lacks the dynamics in the West and is far from the development process of modernization has led Turkey's modernization process become an imposition which focuses on the results and which are far from natural. In the context of the continuity of history, Kemalism is a founding paradigm that has internalized the spirit of the state, its experiences, traumas and concerns, and is based on the idea of nation and secularism in the reconstruction of the state and society. The Kemalist paradigm is a social, cultural, and economic institutionalization effort that places and make sense everything within the ideological frame it creates and focus it's all energy on superstructure and believe in downward modernization. In this effort of institutionalization of Kemalism,a superstructural modernization demand come in to focus from social, economic, cultural and political aspects which is shaping the society and the state within a ideological frame. The aim of our studies is primarily to explain modernism and the nation state in this context, and then to consider Kemalism as a modernizing ideology that constitutes the core of the Revolution.
