Known as common public spaces, art galleries and museums which is confirming of the existing authority, non-reverse the system and are institutions being legalized by existing aesthetic appreciation. Each discourse describing the public space are framed in their own opinions and their own systematic approach. In this context, the art of protest maintains its functionality. At the same time, the representation of the community of living in social and political issues opens the path to understanding the culture outside of the familiar questioned. The global and multi-component communication network of the rapidly developing technology and popularisation of all imaginable staff, have caused questioning of the status of the individual. Some common topics like people and institutions wedged between life and art, the socio-political situation in the country and in this context the relationship between politics and art market, have become the issues of the artistic activities of the Turkish artists. The Problem is in today's art that it has been so much intimate with politics as much as it will not take back itself. Incorporates of Art with politics reflecting of the public issues is existential importance. Beginning with Dada and continues to the present day from the 1960’s art, politics and policy issues with public areas and free spaces with the help of art practices performed on '' art and everyday life '' was functioning with dissident art portals that create Visual art criticism accent. The aim of the research is to examine in the context of the growing phenomenon of protest art in Turkey, which is along with the conceptual meaning of protest issues through the media and the effects of Halil Altındere themes. The Research is descriptive way. As a result, it is understood that the artists and art mediums have been affected by the changing cultural, social and political problems so the artists are directed to political issues in Turkey too. The artists who know protest art by heart are questioned adopting rules and values, so being protest has been the primary objectives of their action. Halil Altındere has been occupied with the politics issues in his art that questioned the dilemma by changing the meaning of national symbols and has addressed culture represents on simple object from everyday life of nation-State.
