It is a matter of priority to take differentiated instruction for the gifted students in visual arts which shows different features and stages of development. While the field of cognitive skills develops depending on chronologic age, situation is different in the field of art. Visual skill beginning in the early age develops with quick steps and visual skill in students shows a tendency to decrease from the first years of school. Thus, artistry in students loses its superiority and has a normal development or superior ability lost in the first years of school might return in the adolescence period. Absence of adequate study about skill developments of the field of visual arts students and qualities of visual arts education to be given make this study important.
