Leather is one of the first natural materials used to satisfy the needs of human beings. Leather is started with the discovery by people working leather scabbard in the war evolved over time, stirrups and quiver as been a material of strategic importance, the place where people live, has entered into every area until the clothes and items of daily use. The rapid expansion has been made in the modernization of the leather business today with our old art technology, studies on the subject, which requires source of income for those who work tanning. This sector today use a variety of objects, making use of raw and auxiliary materials, the fashion of the day in the light of evolving technologies and the need to fight is not made in accordance with. Today it is known that the competition is becoming increasingly difficult. Therefore, to make a permanent place in the leather industry of our country and the world market with unique designs in a good position to ensure that our country is of utmost importance for the economy. which is a district of Bolu Gerede and located in the western Black Sea is one of Turkey's largest leather production centers. Lots of leather production in the region (tannery), belt manufacturing, apparel, leather, footwear production, the company operates and the leather covering machine. This study examines the production of leather belts found in the company engaged in manufacturing leather belt Gerede in the district and is intended to document. The material used in making belts, tools, information provided by the manufacturer on the production stage will be compiled, supported by photographs.
