The paper is consisted of two parts. In the first part, how to make comments on the features that characterize Rumelian accents and which of these features have come into use through outer interaction and which have come into use through inner developments will be discussed. In the second part, words that were lent to Balkan languages by Turkish will be focused on. Whether the words which are shown as borrowings from Turkish are really Turkish-lent or some are lent by other languages will be discussed.
