Turkish teaching is done through text. For this reason, various types of texts are located in Turkish textbooks. However, the Turkish education programs are not given due consideration to the child's biography modeled. Value transfer in and take the child's role model biographies which meet the needs of the target audience of children is a very important tool. The purpose of this research, the value of Mehmet Âkif Ersoy biography child is to examine the target audience in terms of education. Mehmet Âkif Ersoy was examined using three biographies of document analysis in the study. This biography is the target audience of children. While document analysis have been paying attention to the following values: give importance to family unity, fairness, independence, peace, freedom, science, hard work, solidarity, sensitivity, integrity, aesthetics, tolerance, hospitality, Concern for healthy, respect, love, responsibility, cleanliness patriotism, benevolence, courage, friendship, sacrifice, sharing, protecting cultural heritage, leadership, compassion, value of school life, self-esteem. In the study, both by the Mehmet Âkif's life story is available to both transfer value has been found to respond to the need to take a role model for the children. From this point of view, biography books which narrate Mehmet Âkif Ersoy's life can be arranged for the children of different age groups. During the process of child's development, recognition of the different phases of Mehmet Âkif's life and taking him as a role model can be assured.
