Text is a structure which is based on language and besides it contains a lot of factors such as daily life or spiritual life of individuals and community. Explanation is a new work that came into being to decode that structure constructed by language. Sarih (the one who makes explanation) is to explain the concepts used frequently and have a cultural background and also is to explain the poets’ conclusions about them. The difference between the era of the text and the era in which the readers live causes cultural differences and this situation makes it reach a point of information rather than being a common value among the readers or researchers. It is important to reinforce the information about explanation (mazmun) with visuals so that the text can be understood and readers can have the pleasure of aesthetic. However, most of these explanations (mazmuns) are leaving the daily life and heading their way to the museums because of the cultural changes and developments. In this study, it is being tried to draw attention to that it is necessary to prepare a book of explanations (mazmuns) with pictures whose common cultural value is forgotten or is beginning to be forgotten in order to understand the Classical Turkish Poetry and there are some tips showing how to make it.
