Mehmed Râsim’s Explanation On The First Eighteen Couplets Of Mesnevi

Mevlana’s Mesnevi has aroused attention both in east and west since it was written. In many centuries, there have been many studies on understanding and explaining the truths of Mesnevi. Among these studies, especially Mesnevi translations, explanations and selections have created a tradition lasting for centuries. This study focuses on explainer’s explaining style after giving information about the first eighteen couplets of poem called “Şerh-i Râsim Müntehabâtu alâ Mesnevî” which includes explanation of couplets chosen by Mehmet Râsim from Mesnevi.
