In this study, the Turki-i Basit poems of Edirneli Nazmi are compared in terms of similes system through a general view. To this end; issues such as human, beauty, beloved and beauty in beloved are examined in terms of general insights. Samples of poems given in this study are limited because of article limitations. It is examined by which images and symbols the human factor is studied in Nazmi’s poems and to what extent these comparison elements correspond to the general insight
