Turks showed intense effort for spreading Islam and clearing Islamic teaching and culture after taking over Islamic religion. Therefore, they tried to create a figure of “ideal Islamic leader” by using lots of historical characters as a part of their spoken literature. These characters were chosen among the real war and gaza heroes from Shia society. One of the most important character was Hz. Ali became famous with bravery and courage. There is a literary type named “cenkname” within narrating Hz. Ali’s fictional and sometimes historical battles and jihads. In the ‘cenkname’s written since the 13th century, the main characters are Hz. Hasan, Hz. Hüseyin and Muhammed Hanefi besides Hz. Ali. Thus, some of the ‘cenkname’s are individually called “Muhammed Hanefi Cenkleri” narrating Muhammed Hanefi’s battles and jihads. In this work, we try to explain some leitmotives and transcript the text named “Muhammed Hanefi Hazretlerinin Cengi” which tells us Muhammed Hanefi’s jihad with the infidel named Tabut at age 10. In addition to that we try to enrich our work with the glossary. The original text is so inaccurate and there are lots of errors because of the rewriter. So, there are lots of broken meters in the text and its cause imposible to give meaning to couplets.
