Almost majority of the lessons taught in the school includes activities that foster students' creative thinking. In order to be a society of the future, gaining creative thinking skill will be an important attribute. Our society is developing fast and has a tendency to change its educational curriculum in accordance with necessities of the time. Newly constructed Turkish course (1th5th and 6 th -8th grades ) aims to study what kind of explanations and gains there are about teaching creative thinking in Teaching Curriculum. Screening model has been used and content analysis has been done in the research. To obtain data, first of all, curriculums have been reached at the website of Ministry of National Education Head Council of Education and Morality: (www.ttkb.meb.gov.tr). In the curriculums, philosophy on which teaching curriculum depends, general goals, main skills, approaches and techniques have been screened. When the findings, obtained as a result of the research, are taken into consideration, it can be said that there has been adequate gain for both primary and secondary school students in aspects of quantity and quality. Creative thinking in the curriculum is within main skills and curriculum has tried to make learners gain this skill through texts. With rich content, students are tried to develop creative thinking. As students themselves take part in the process of generating syllable, word, sentence, text with goals, activities to develop students creativity are included. Goals with this aspect can contribute to teaching creative thinking. Creative thinking goals can be said to become intense beginning from 2th grade in primary school. It is seen that after 3th grade more importance is given to foster students creative thinking skills. After 4th and 5 th grade in primary school, students have been tried to do exercises about gaining creative thinking skills and using that in their daily lives.
