The Crime novel is a type of fiction that try to find murder and homicide which is planned incisively with reader; and that is shaped around fiction of detective/police. The type of Crime novel which is found in west had come in view in the last quarter of 17th century, however; it had just become one of the valid expression of modern-day in 20th century. The reason of delay is crime novel’s evalution as a type of ‘insignificant’ which is extenuated as part of literature and esthetics norm althought being at the top on best seller and having so many reader in the world. Eventhough this perception is getting change dates from 1990s, the crime novel -even if it is so popularhas been looked as a ‘foster child’, located in second genres. But the thinking little of well crime novel does not change the true that the well crime novel is well literature. In other words, the crime novel has realized being a type of ‘insignificant’ literature all by itself. In Turkish Literature, Erhan Bener is one of the salient authors with his production. It would be a mistake to describe him as a crime novel author even if he is one the most important person who writes down on this type in his term. The author has attitude which is a prioritize to person in his text. Bener prefers to tell the stories of ever alienating people around a homicide. Loş Ayna, Sisli Yaz and Eski Dostlar are prominent novels among his novels. These novels also remark with being questioned a person’s. In other saying Bener, sends away the text from ‘borigness’ by way of crime fiction while presents the people who has weak tie with society as a different indicator. Briefly stated, in this article it has been tried to emphize unique manner of handling the person while it has been reviewing Erhan Bener’s novels which is mentioned in point of crime fiction.
