In this study, we have investigated the spelling differences in various books published within the sphere of classical Turkish literature. The purpose of this study is neither to criticize nor exhibit mistakes but to present a picture of present situation. The works published have been exemplified not from bibliography but from authentic works and the rationale have been provided for the causes. Taking into account the multitude of guide, we have investigated only the four of them published in different dates.
