As a result of studies, it has been shown that fruit has the symbolic meanings of immortality, the existence that is the core of something, a jewel and truth. It is seen that the symbolisms of fruit by itself changes according to societies. The apple became the fruit of the tree in paradise and the “golden apple” is the symbol of immortality. The grape symbolizes autumn, the pomegranate bountifulness, reproduction, maternity and birth. As a result of my research in the art of calligraphy it has been proven that there are manuscripts reflecting religious and mystic subjects have been stacked neatly in the forms of pears, apples and pomegranate. In the Turkish Foundation Calligraphic Arts Museum, the only such one in Turkey and in the world there are three examples of calligraphy neatly stacked in pear form. It seems that the stacked fruit in the form of pears, apples and pomegranates and written in various techniques were lovingly used by calligraphers who had great creative power, sought change in the Turkish art of calligraphy and worked in religious and mystic circles.
