Organizational commitment is having the material and spiritualfeeling which requires being present at school. Furthermore culturalleadership is school director’s new and effective actions which will maketeachers committed to school. Organizational culture is an importantfactor for the organization to be successful or not. When the schooladministrators have cultural leadership characteristics more, thesuccess of schools is also going to increase. In order to have moresuccessful organizations there is a need for the leaders who are welleducated, professional and who can present cultural leadership roles.The purpose of this study is examined “The effects of schooladministrators’ cultural leadership roles on organizational commitmentlevel of teachers”. Furthermore, the effects of variables, such as gender,marital status, position at school, year of service, graduation,educational status and type of school institution, on participators wereexamined. The population and sample of the study is comprised ofteachers, administrator assistants and administrators of schools inAfyonkarahisar. In the first part of the scale delivered to theparticipants personal demographic information is requested. In thesecond part of the scale “Organizational Commitment Questionnaire”(Allen & Meyer, 1991) consisting 18 items whose reliability and validitytested beforehand is used. Moreover in the third part of the scale“Cultural Leadership Questionnaire” (Değirmenci, 2006; Yıldırım, 2001)having 21 items whose reliability and validity tested beforehand is used.For analyzing the data; t test, anova and kanonik correlation analyzetest are used. When it comes to the results of the research it can beconcluded that the cultural leadership roles of school administratorsare effective on the level of teachers’ organizational commitment. Inother words a positive relation is found between cultural leadership andorganizational commitment.   Örgütsel bağlılık, öğretmenlerin okulda bulunmalarını gerektirecek maddi manevi duygunun kendilerinde bulunmasıdır. Kültürel liderlik de okul müdürünün okula öğretmenleri bağlı hale getirecek yeni ve etkileyici eylemlerde bulunmasıdır. Örgütsel kültür kurumun başarılı veya başarısız olmasında önemli bir faktördür. Yöneticilerin kültürel liderlik özelliklerini daha fazla taşımasıyla okulların başarısı da daha fazla olacaktır. Kurumların daha başarılı olabilmesi için iyi eğitilmiş, profesyonel ve kültürel liderlik rollerinin sergileyebilen liderlere ihtiyaç vardır. Bu çalışma okul müdürlerinin kültürel liderlik rollerinin, öğretmenlerin örgütsel bağlılık düzeyi üzerine etkisini incelenmiştir. Ayrıca çalışmada cinsiyet, görev, hizmet yılı, eğitim durumu ve okul türü değişkenlerinin, katılımcıların örgütsel bağlılık düzeyi ve kültürel liderlikle ilgili görüşlerine etkisi incelenmiştir. Örneklem olarak Afyonkarahisar Milli Eğitim Müdürlüğü’ne bağlı ilköğretim ve ortaöğretim kurumlarındaki okul müdürleri, okul müdür yardımcıları ve öğretmenler ele alınmıştır. Ölçeğin birinci bölümünde demografik bilgiler sorulurken, ikinci bölümünde daha önceden güvenirliliği ve geçerliliği test edilen ve 18 maddeden oluşan “Örgütsel Bağlılık Anketi” (Organizational Commitment Questionnaire) (Allen & Meyer, 1991; akt. Demirkıran, 2004) kullanılmıştır. Ölçeğin 3. bölümünde ise yine daha önceden güvenirliliği ve geçerliliği test edilen ve 21 maddeden oluşan “Kültürel Liderlik Anketi” (Yıldırım, 2001) yer almaktadır. Araştırma verilerinin analiz edilmesinde t testi, anova ve kanonik korelasyon analiz testi uygulanmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda öğretmenlerin örgütsel bağlılık düzeyinin artırılmasında okul yöneticisinin kültürel liderlik rollerinin etkili olduğu görülmektedir. Bir diğer ifadeyle, kültürel liderlikle örgütsel bağlılık arasında pozitif bir ilişki bulunmuştur
