Yunus Emre who lived between the XII- XIV centuries is one of the prominent figures of Islamic thought history. The effect of him has endured in different fields until today, and now he is handled in a play (theatre work ya da presentation). Necip Fazıl Kısakürek who attaches great importance to theatre in all literary genre in his play, Yunus Emre, appointed Yunus Emre as the protagonist of the play. In this work, Necip Fazıl Kısakürek's play “Yunus Emre” is going to be analyzed in respect to its structural components such as identity analysis, subject, plot, personality analysis, and place and scene analysis. The tale- based life of Yunus Emre who has a prominent place in Turkish-Islamic history is pictured in this monument. In this table, on one hand Yunus Emre's adventure beginning with his coming to Anatolia is told, and on the other hand his mystical travel that he experienced by means of his poems is narrated. In the play, references are made to some social and political events that took place at time of Yunus Emre in Anatolia. Issues such as Mongol attacks and Mongol domination in Anatolia, the last situation of State of the Seljuks, the conflicts among the Principalities, the despair of the public, the various roles that the sects undertook during that chaos also take place in that play. In our survey, beside the structural elements, also such kind of thematic cases are mentioned. In this way, the sophisticated identity of Yunus Emre is aimed to be manifested. Ultimately, an important matter for yunus Emre, „Great Jihad‟ that is to say self-discipline, which is also the main subject of the thesis is pointed out.   Yunus Emre, XIII.-XIV. Yüzyıllarda yaşayan, Türk – İslam düşünce tarihinin önemli isimlerinden biridir. Şiirleri aracılığı ile yayılma imkânı bulan düşüncelerinin etkisi günümüze kadar farklı alanlarda sürmüş olan Yunus Emre, bu defa bir tiyatro oyunu içinde ele alınmıştır. Edebi türler içinde tiyatroya büyük bir önem veren Necip Fazıl Kısakürek, Yunus Emre adlı oyununda Yunus Emre‟ye oyunun başkişisi olarak yer vermiştir. Bu çalışmada Necip Fazıl Kısakürek‟in Yunus Emre adlı tiyatrosu, oyunun kimlik çözümlemesi, konusu, olay dizisi, kişilik çözümlemesi, mekân ve dekor çözümlemeleri gibi yapısal unsurları bakımından incelenecektir. Eserde Türk-İslam tarihi içinde önemli bir yere sahip olan Yunus Emre‟nin menkıbelere dayalı hayatı tablolaştırılmıştır. Bu tablo içinde bir yandan Yunus Emre‟nin Anadolu‟ya gelmesi ile başlayan serüveni anlatılırken diğer yandan şiirleri aracılığı ile Yunus Emre‟nin yaşadığı tasavvufi yolculuk anlatılır. Oyunda, Yunus Emre devrinde Anadolu‟da vuku bulan bazı sosyal ve siyasal olaylara da göndermeler yapılır. Anadolu‟daki Moğol saldırıları ve hakimiyeti, Selçuklu Devleti‟nin son durumu, Beylikler arasındaki iç çekişmeler, halkın çaresizliği, bu karmaşa içinde tarikatların üstlendikleri çeşitli roller gibi meselelere oyunda yer verilmiştir. İncelememizde yapısal unsurların yanı sıra, bu gibi tematik hususlara da temas edilmiştir. Bu şekilde Yunus Emre‟nin çok fonksiyonlu kimliği ortaya konmaya çalışılmıştır. Son olarak yazar için önemli bir husus olan „Büyük Cihad‟ yani nefis terbiyesi gibi oyunun asıl tez konusuna dikkat çekilmiştir
