Beauty as an abstract concept and not having certain definition has created to difficulties for aesthetic science to apply rules and to define judgement about what is right or wrong based on experiments like positive science. Aesthetic being accepted as a science tries to explain beauty with reference to universal criteria by limiting subjective judgement. Aesthetic novel by defining the boundaries of its own kind aims to classify itself. Aesthetic novel aims to replace sensorial with intellectual concepts of the element of aesthetic. Aesthetic novel is the product of author aiming to produce an artistic work. In this study, we define aesthetic novel elements in Peyami Safa’s novel ‘Yalniziz’ referring to aesthetic novel criteria. In introduction, studies on aesthetic are examined. The elements of aesthetic novel in general will be discussed at the second part and elements of aesthetic novel at the novel of ‘Yalniziz’ will be examined at the last part.
