The article deals with the morphological and semantic features of the usage of the present tense form -yor in the new ottoman version of the Tatar literary language of the end of XIX – the beginning of the XX centuries which was generated under the strong influence of the Ottoman language. As it is known, the given form is characteristic for Turkish language. In the period specified above it was actively used and in the Tatar literary language.
