Besides Ottoman Metallic Art continues the traditions of Seldjuk Sultanate it keeps many changes within. Like all of the art branches of the Ottoman Empire metallic art works like silver cencers show lots of variety in form, techics and beautification. In this case four silver cencers which belong to the collection of Turkish and Islamic Art Works Museum in İstanbul are tried to be established, compared and assessed. In this connection, it’s been tried to show silver cencer’s place in Turkish Metallic Art.
