Some Problems on Synonymy in Turkey Turkish

It is well known that there are few studies on semantics in Turkey Turkish. So, there are many semantic issues which must be examined synchronicly and diachronicly in Turkey Turkish. Some problems on synonymy in Turkish have been dwelt on in this study. The questions like „are there any absolutely synonymous word pairs in Turkish?‟, „How is the relationship between synonymy and context?‟, „Can a native word and its borrowing counterpart be synonymous. Is word deaht related with synonymy in Turkish. Are there any differences in standart Turkey Turkish and Anatolian dialects from the synonymyus point of view are the subjets of this study.
