A Structuralist Approach To Elçin’s Posta Şubesinde Hayal

Not only the novels and short stories but also the dramas of Elçin, an important figure of Azerbaijan literature, influenced the development of Azerbaijan literature. These dramas were also staged in many different countries beside Azerbaijan and thus also play an important role in the international presentation of Azerbaijan. This study tries to expose the deeper meaning of Posta Şubesinde Hayal by analysing the text in terms of its structural elements. The hidden meanings of time space character and stage sections were revealed during the analysis. The analysis method used in this study is based on Ayşegül Yüksel‟s drama analysis which she applied to the drama of M. Cevdet Anday.
