Definitions of Poem in the First Period of Republican Era Poeticas from Dergah to Büyük Doğu

In this study, poetry definitions of the first period of Republican Era poeticas are evaluated.The poeticas of this period have almost common definitions. This general definition which is coherent with the poetic thought related to the period based on the propure poetry symbolizm. At the beging of the period,the definition of the poetry in this form is primarily formed at “Dergah School” which is a journal published by a group of writers.Later on, ıt has reached till to the “The Great East” by developing in emerging poetic magazines.In this process, it did not encounter serious resistance except for some objections. The most important concepts of this definition which were brought closer to locale traditions in The Great East have also been reached to a clear meaning. The developing poetry definition throuhout the period presents a general integrity and it is extremely important for us to understand the poetry
