Turfan Texte VII'de Geçen Ay Menzilleri ve Burç Adları

The text published in Turkische Turfan Texte VII is an astrological text that contains many Sanskrit and Chinese loan-words. It is quite difficult to understand this text because of the numerous and complex terms it contains. For this reason, the meanings of astronomical terms used in the Old Turkic and mostly of Sanskrit origin are not adequately explained in dictionaries and studies about the text. Although the fact that Lunar Mansions are listed in order in the text and even it is mentioned in which Zodiac sign they appear, it is not understood what these words mean. In order for astronomical terms and their Turkish equivalents to be correctly identified and to be able to solve complexity, the meanings of loan words in these texts must be determined correctly.
