Abstrak CSR ( Corporate Social Responsibility ) merupakan kewajiban sosial yang harus dijalankan oleh perusahaan yang berdiri di Indonesia berdasarkan berbagai undang-undang yang berlaku. Namun dalam pelaksanaannya program-program CSR yang diterapkan berbeda di tiap perusahaan, tergantung pada pemaknaan perusahaan terhadap konsep CSR. Hal ini berdampak pada implementasi program CSR dan modal sosial yang nantinya terbangun antara perusahaan dengan masyarakat lokal. Penelitian terdahulu, lebih banyak membahas mengenai evaluasi program CSR, namun belum menunjukkan dampak lebih lanjut dari hasil evaluasi program tersebut.Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa implementasi program CSR yang baik akan berdampak pada terbangunnya modal sosial yang baik pula. Implementasi program yang baik terlihat dari terpenuhinya tahapan implementasi program. Modal sosial dianggap penting dalam implementasi program karena melalui modal sosial perusahaan memperoleh penerimaan dari masyarakat lokal dan pemerintah daerah, yang dapat membantu mempermudah jalannya bisnis perusahaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif untuk mendapatkan pemahaman yang lebih baik mengenai keberhasilan penerapan program CSR dan terbentuknya modal sosial. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam serta observasi. Abstract CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) is a social obligation that must be run by a company established in Indonesia based on the various laws applicable. However, in practice CSR programs are implemented differently in each company, depending on the meaning of the concept of CSR companies. This has an impact on the implementation of CSR programs and social capital that will be built between the company and local communities. The previous study, more discussion regarding the evaluation of CSR programs, but has yet to show the further impact of the results of the evaluation of the program. This study shows that the implementation of good CSR program will have an impact on the establishment of good social capital as well. good program implementation seen from the fulfilled of the stages of program implementation. Social capital is important for program implementation because through a social capital company which receives acceptance from local communities and local governments, which can help ease the business enterprise. This study uses qualitative methods to gain a better understanding of the successful implementation of CSR programs and the formation of social capital.
