A new locality of Early Cretaceous (late Hauterivian/early Barremian) age near Golmayo (Soria, Spain) has yielded a varied vertebrate assemblage consisting of fi ve dinosaurs taxa remains (Ornithopoda, Sauropoda, Theropoda, and Thyreophora), a Cryptodiran turtle and a “Mesosuchian” crocodilian. This fauna provides new evidence about the composition of Lower Cretaceous European ecosystems. By the diversity of its fauna, the “Zorralbo” site provides an important contribution to our knowledge of the Early Cretaceous vertebrates of Spain.
