The editors and members of the editorial advisory board are pleased to announce that the winner of the Urban History Review/Revue d'histoire urbaine Prize for the best article published in Volume XIV is Donald F. Davis, "The 'Metropolitan Thesis' and the Writing of Canadian Urban History," published in the October 1985 issue. Professor Davis, a member of the History Department at the University of Ottawa, will receive a two year subscription to the Review.
