The establishment of Technopolis and the development of innovation ecosystem have made an important contribution in South Korea’s latest industrial development and regional innovation system establishment. The regional innovation policy based on technopolis in South Korea has been a critical instrument to achieve regional economic growth and sustainable development through networked collaboration between HEI’s, research institutes, industries and government. Especially, Daedeok INNOPOLIS is responsible for the central role in the strategy of establishing science-technology based innovation cluster in Korea. Daedeok INNOPOLIS have been in charge of a pivotal role for the development of Korea’s high-tech industry with the support from innovative workforce such as research-centered Endogenous Development Strategy of Technopolis in Korea: Case of Daedeok INNOPOLIS
