Espaço-tempo na cidade de São Paulo: historicidade e espacialidade do “bairro” da Água Branca

This article tries to discuss some questions about the space-time relationship on Sao Paulo City and how its theories and method simply on geographical researches. The discussion content is also based on empiric studies about a sector of Sao Paulo City, named Agua Branca (located on the near west of the city). Such studies, starting from the present reality on its complexity, reveal that Agua Branca has different spacialiaties in the history. So, it was possible to understand the present of this space on a large way. We have as the base of the sediscussions, the interaction between theories of industrialization, urbanization and its relations, and empirical analyses of this local. The main point of the discussion is the neighborhood and its conception what actually is the starting point of the analysis. As we will try to show, the neighborhood here is discovered and rediscovered, from the inseparable movement of space-time.
