Knowledge Hub is a multilingual public hub that catalogs and provides an index to Open Educational Resources (OERs). These open educational resources are freely available on the Internet and World Wide Web and belong to academic and professional higher education institutions with international presence worldwide. The Knowledge Hub helps to find OERs quickly. The main objective of this article is to describe the technological and educational development and implementation of this website search engine initiative. Described are different aspects and features of this website search engine for open educational resources, its technological aspects, and its developmental phases. Also presented are the findings of a survey about the uses and experiences of Tecnologico de Monterrey faculty regarding their adoption of open educational resources were located in the Knowledge Hub virtual index.
