This article's goal is to present, through a practical case analysis, a device for the detection and organization of intervention actions in educational guidance in compulsory secondary education (junior and middle high school); namely, the Pareto Analysis. At this educational level, school counsellors are immersed in a complex series of demands or problems, many of which fall within the scope of their functions.
