Open AccessEn general, en los últimos años, dentro de la formación inicial de los profesionales de la educación en el ámbito académico universitario y, más concretamente, en las titulaciones de Pedagogía y Educación Social, la Educación Comparada se ha establecido como una disciplina fundamental en los planes de estudio. De ahí, la importancia de conocer la situación actual de esta materia en los nuevos planes de estudio de los grados de Magisterio de Educación Infantil y Primaria, Educación Social y Pedagogía, tras la incorporación de nuestro sistema al Espacio Europeo de Educación Superior (EEES). Desde este planteamiento, además, este estudio pretende ofrecer un análisis comparado del estado de esta cuestión una vez implementada la actual reforma universitaria en España con respecto al panorama previo, tratando de destacar la evolución real experimentada en este terreno durante los últimos años.
In general, in recent years, within the initial training of education professionals in the university level, and, particularly, in the degrees of Pedagogy, Social Education, Primary Education and Early Childhood Education Teaching, the Comparative Education has established as a core course in the academic curriculum. In this context, it becomes determinant to know the current situation of this academic field in the mentioned university degrees in education, once the implementation of the European Higher Education Area has been made. It is from this approach that the study also offers a comparative analysis of the state of this discipline after the Bologna reform process in Spain, with respect to the previous situation, aiming to review the real evolution that comparative education has experimented over the last years.
