espanolEl derecho al medio ambiente ocupa un papel muy importante en la comunidad no solo nacional sino internacional, ya que el hombre por el mismo deseo de industrializarse ha sacrificado un bien comun para todos los seres vivos el cual debe cuidarse y protegerse, degradandolo hasta el punto de llegar a destruir algunos ecosistemas, de ahi en la necesidad de realizar el presente estudio, en analizar los mecanismos de proteccion y las tendencias jurisprudenciales de la Corte Constitucional en materia del medio ambiente sano. EnglishThe right to a healthy environment plays an important role in the wellbeing of the community, not only at a national but an international level. The humanity, in its excessive desire for industrialization, has sacrificed this fundamental common good to all living creatures. Instead of care for it and protect it, it has being degraded to the point of destroying valuable ecosystems. Hence the need for this study, which aims to assess the mechanisms of protection and jurisprudential trends of the Colombian Constitutional Court with regard to a healthy environmental.
