Aproximación jurídica a las relaciones de la Unión Europea con las organizaciones internacionales con especial énfasis en las relaciones con Naciones Unidas

La Union Europea en su politica exterior desarrolla relaciones con otras organizaciones internacionales y en este ambito tiene una posicion innovadora, por ejemplo, la Union, es decir, en aquel momento la Comunidad Economica Europea, fue la primera entidad no estatal que recibio el estatuto de observador en la Asamblea General de las Naciones Unidas. El motivo de esta actuacion es dar cumplimiento a las competencias que le han sido atribuidas por los Estados miembros y para alcanzar sus fines. En este articulo me centrare sobre todo en las relaciones con Naciones Unidas donde la Union goza de diversos estatutos. Mi objetivo es exponer la base juridica en la cual la Union se apoya para poder establecer estas relaciones, desarrollarlas y, trazar algunos limites y obstaculos a los cuales tiene que enfrentarse. The European Union evolves relations with other international organisations in its foreign policy and has an innovative position in this field, for instance, the Union, respectively the European Economic Community was the first non-state entity which received the observer status in the General Assembly of the United Nations at its time. The reason of this action is the fulfilment of its competences to which it was assigned by its Member States and the completion of its objectives. In this article I will especially focus on the relations of the European Union with the United Nations where the Union enjoys the variety of statutes. My goal is to expose the legal base with witch the Union backs the establishment and evolvement of these relations and outline some of the limits and obstacles to which it faces.
